Growing Together: 30 days Cultivating the Fruit of the Spirit - An Introduction

RCC Family,

We know that the days we are now living in are unprecedented, and that can be scary. The uncertainty of our times can bring with it levels of emotion ranging from simply annoying to genuinely unsettling. Our emotional and spiritual reserves may run low, and we may find ourselves reacting to people and events in ways that reflect our fatigue more than our faith.

So, for the next 30 days - from August 3rd to September 11th - RCC is going to be providing some daily fuel for you from God’s word. Now, don’t stop other devotional readings, these will not be lengthy. If you think in terms of food (as we often do), these are not meals - they’re vitamins. So, don’t stop eating - but take your vitamins (and don’t forget to floss…and call your mom).

So, Monday through Friday you’ll get a little something extra to read, to think about, to say aloud, to sing, to write down, or to meditate on. And, we get to do it together. It will be a shared experience from which all of us at RCC can be Growing Together.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:23)

Our focus in Week One: Love and Joy!
