Students Activities While We’re at Home
While COVID-19 has us away from school and our typical after-school activities, including Wednesdays at RCC, we wanted to share some activity ideas for students and parents to share together while everyone is home.
Affirmations
It’s simple, easy, and for many of us and our kids, needed. Find an big obvious object around the house and pick a family member to wear it. If they are wearing it, remind them of the great things about them. Then, enjoy the benefits of positivity in your time together.
Random Family Questions
It’s like a lottery for learning about each other. For a week, you’ll come up with questions to ask each other. Once the week is over, start the random draw and find out what you learn. Be sure to ask some “silly” questions and have fun with it!
Love Languages Test for Teens
We think that this short set of questions can go a long way to helping your students express themselves as well as encouraging conversation and ideas of things to do with what you learn.
Game Night
We love playing games with students. Now’s their chance to teach their family some of our favorites.
