Women’s Ministry

Our Vision:

To create intentional opportunities for women to learn about, grow in, and share Jesus with others, and a desire to connect them and that passion into worship and life group communities.

Women’s Summer 2012 Studies:

Thursday Mornings: from 9:00-11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall
June 21st to August 2nd (not meeting July 19th due to Summer Adventure)

Join us this summer as we gather together for worship, community, and study!
Cost for both studies is $20, childcare is provided. Sign up Sunday mornings on the patio beginning May 20th.

Choose from one of our two book studies:

  • Spiritual Parenting taught my Shelby Rommelfanger.
This study is good for new and experienced moms – a fresh, innovative, Biblical take on parenting can be applied at any stage of the parenting journey! We will be reading through the Spiritual Parenting book during the week and watching a DVD series when we gather to help us transform our home environment so God can work in our children’s lives. As a big group we will discuss the DVDs and work through some practical applications. Then in small groups, we will use more discussion as well as prayer to encourage each other to create hearts and souls that are shaped in vibrant faith and love toward God and others. Come study and grow with us as we learn to use God’s powerful Spirit to obey and depend on HIM in our parenting endeavors!
  • Grasping God’s Word Taught by Stephanie Dunnam and Y Bonesteele.  Develop a firm grasp of God’s word by learning the practical skills of observing, interpreting, and applying Scripture to your life.  In small groups, each of you will practice tactics, learn to use commentaries as necessary, and share personal insight while working through the book of Colossians. Homework is minimal. Sure to be a unique and life changing study!

Women’s Book Club:

(First Wednesday of each month)
Please join us each month as we gather together at noon to fellowship and share our opinions about a book we have chosen to read. For more information on our book club call the church office at 524-1744.
